Manuscript Submission Guidelines

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To ensure your manuscript is eligible for consideration, please adhere meticulously to the guidelines outlined below. Our Submission Coordinators will not review submissions that fail to comply with these instructions. Double-check your submission to maximize its potential for success.

Manuscript Formatting Essentials

At Cypress and Pine Publishing, we are committed to showcasing the best of Christian literature. To facilitate a smooth review process, we kindly request that authors submit their manuscripts in PDF format. This allows for a comprehensive evaluation by our editorial team. Should you encounter any difficulties in converting your document to PDF, consider using Google Docs as a convenient alternative for importing and formatting your work according to our specifications.

In the upper left-hand corner of your first page, please include:

Author's Pen Name: The name under which you wish to be published.

Legal Name: If different from your pen name.

Contact Details: Your phone number, email address, and mailing address for correspondence.

Manuscript Title: The title of your work.

Word Count: The total word count of your manuscript, excluding the title, your names, and contact information.

Formatting Your Manuscript:

Spacing: The text should be double-spaced.

Font: Use size 12, black, Times New Roman font.

File Naming Convention

When saving your manuscript file, please adhere to the following format:

Example: LastName-TitleOfManuscript.doc or .docx

Response Time and Process

Our editorial team diligently reviews submissions on a rolling basis. Acceptance and rejection notifications are dispatched in the first week of each month for the forthcoming month's publications. Once a month's roster is full, submissions for that period will close.

What to Expect Upon Acceptance:

Fees: Cypress and Pine Publishing does not charge submission fees. Full payment for publication services is required upon acceptance, unless prior financing arrangements have been made.

Final Checklist Before Submission

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you have followed all the guidelines detailed above. Submissions not adhering to these requirements will not be reviewed until corrected and resubmitted in the specified format. If your manuscript is selected for publication, you will be notified via email. Should you not receive a response within four weeks of submission, we welcome you to follow up.
